Daniel Gossett is a Program Director in the Division of Kidney, Urologic, and Hematologic Diseases of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). His portfolio includes tool and technology development, biomedical imaging, and research conducted by small businesses.

Prior to working at the NIDDK, he trained as a biomedical engineer at University of California, Los Angeles, and helped launch a company to develop microfluidic diagnostic technology. He is the Small Business Innovation Research coordinator for the NIDDK and works on several programs including the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) and the (Re)Building a Kidney (RBK) consortium.
