Paul Hockings holds a PhD from Griffith University in Australia and is Adjunct Professor at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. In 1992 he joined SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals in the UK to develop novel imaging biomarkers for use in drug discovery and development.

Since then, he has led imaging groups in GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca in Sweden to deliver imaging solutions for drug development projects. In 2015 he joined Antaros Medical as Senior Imaging Director responsible for imaging science in drug development projects. Paul has a particular interest in the development of imaging biomarkers for kidney disease, metabolic dysfunction, and drug safety. Paul is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
