Dr. Toshiyuki Takahashi received MD degree in 2007 from Hokkaido University and served as pediatrician, specialized in nephrology since then. After receiving his PhD, he transitioned to Clinical Research and Medical Innovation Center of the Hokkaido University Hospital. Since 2021, Dr. Takahashi has been serving as a medical reviewer in the New Drug Department at PMDA, contributing his expertise to the regulatory assessment of innovative pharmaceuticals. He has also contributed to the Guidelines for Clinical Evaluation of Chronic Kidney Disease in Early Stages in Japan (to be published in 2024).
